The NNLSO Vanguard Prize recognizes individuals for outstanding professional achievement in support of student services. The prize is bestowed annually upon one NNLSO member; previous recipients are not eligible. Nominations are submitted by the deans of member schools (or their designees). The Prize carries a cash award of $500, and the prize monies are disbursed to the recipient's law school to be earmarked for professional development related to the recipient's office, including but not limited to expenses associated with attending the annual AACRAO/NNLSO meeting. Each January, the NNLSO Executive Committee selects the recipient from the list of nominees. The award ceremony takes place during the NNLSO Annual Business Luncheon held in conjunction with the AACRAO Annual meeting.
The nomination period for the 2014 prize will end on December 31, 2013. Nominations for the 2014 prize will be accepted starting October 1st, 2013, and may be submitted directly to the Executive Director, Judith Calvert. Thank you for your interest in the Vanguard Prize.
