Annual Conference First-Time Attendee Grant |
The National Network of Law School Officers (NNLSO) is committed to the professional development of its members. NNLSO First-Time Attendee grants are available to encourage attendance at the annual NNLSO meeting held in conjunction with the AACRAO annual meeting. Each year, NNLSO will award up to three (3) grants. These grants will be in the amount of $1,000.00 for in-person attendance at the AACRAO Annual Meeting, or, in the event the applicant selects an available virtual attendance option for the Meeting, in the amount of the early registration fee for virtual attendance. Eligibility: Applicants may not have attended any Annual NNLSO Meeting previously. Applicants who have attended the AACRAO Annual Meeting but are new to NNLSO or law school administration will be considered, but will not receive priority over applicants who have never attended the Meeting. How Do I Apply? Complete the application form below. You must include an explanation as to why you are requesting the grant and a statement addressing why you should be selected. Submit your application here: FIRST-TIME ATTENDEE GRANT APPLICATION 2024 Meeting Deadline: February 9, 2024 How Are the Funds Received? Funds will be paid, as a reimbursement to your institution, after the AACRAO Annual Meeting. We must confirm your attendance at the meeting in order for the funds to be reimbursed. What Happens If I Receive the Grant But Can No Longer Attend? Unfortunately, we cannot roll grant awards over to subsequent years, or transfer grants to other attendees. If you cannot attend in the year you receive the grant, we encourage you to reapply for consideration the following year, and this application will be considered with other applicants in that year.
